A double shot of methodical coffee’s pink lady espresso served over ice with fever tree tonic, and finished with a slash of yuzu syrup. Altogether bright. Altogether elevated.     We spent some time sourcing our coffee roaster before settling on Methodical. This operation is called ‘South Carolina’s best coffee’ by Food & Wine magazine. Yes, we’re crossing the state border, but they’re about an hour away. Garden & Gun, and Condé Nast Traveller Magazine back up our decision (and come on - thanks to 1-26 a lot of local things are about an hour away). This is good coffee peoples. We’re focusing on the coffee. Come try the coffee. It won’t disappoint.

    Another of our great local brands is the Asheville Tea Company. Though Coffee is our main focus, being a Brit means tea will always hold a dear place in our (okay… my) heart and we love the many flavors they offer. We carry classics like Asheville Grey and Pisgah Breakfast (does life even start before a morning cuppa? Asking for a friend…) and light herbal blends like the lovely Tulsi Rose and Chamomile Lavender.

    As local as local gets. Buchi is made right here in little old Marshall. Wha?? Yes! That’s right. In 2016 they opened the first commercial Kombucha brewery in the Southeast. You would be hard pressed to find a local company who has kept such commitment to positive social impact alongside the wild growth of their company.
